Speaking to members of the armed forces, French President Francois Hollande said today that militants of the Daesh terrorist organization were forced to retreat, leaving their positions in Iraq and Syria.
The meeting took place in the town of Saint-Cyr-Koenkidan, where one of the main French military schools is located.
Speaking about the problems of the French armed forces, Hollande said that in 2016 they will continue to act in the world on a variety of fronts.
