French President Francois Hollande has made a statement about the inadmissibility of providing any support to Syrian President Bashar Assad.
"Nothing should be done in order to support Bashar al-Assad,’’ Tass cites him.
Commenting on Bashar al-Assad’s recent visit to Moscow, the French President expressed hope that the recent talks in the Kremlin will stimulate the beginning of a political transition in the Middle Eastern country. "I'd like to believe that President Vladimir Putin urged Assad to start a political transition, as well as to resign as soon as possible. I think it was the main purpose of the meeting,’’ Hollande said.
