According to the PMCG research center's specialists, the beginning of the beach season in Georgia was marked by an increase in prices for hotels.
In June, the average price of rooms increased by 16% compared to May, Sputnik Georgia reports.
Compared to June of last year, prices for accommodation in hotels increased by 1.2%.
As for specific prices, an average cost of a room in a 5-star hotel in June amounted to 518 lari, or $190. A room in a four-star hotel cost 275 lari (just over a hundred dollars). For a day in a 3-star hotel you should pay 183 lari ($67).
