Hungary supported the continuation of cooperation with Iran in the field of peaceful nuclear energy, the Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister, Zsolt Semjen, said.
Zsolt Semjen said at a meeting with the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Ali-Akbar Salehi, that "Iran's significant status is known to everyone," abc.az reports with reference to the Iranian news agency IRNA.
Yesterday Reuters reported that Iran wants to design and produce a 25-megawatt reactor and a reactor of up to 100 megawatts together with Hungary.
"We intend to fully utilize all commercial and technical opportunities, including the pursuit of peaceful nuclear activities, emanating from this deal," Salehi said.
