A US report detailing new sanctions against Russia will be published on January 29, the US Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman said.
Huntsman noted that it is too early to talk about the number of Russians who will be affected by new restrictions.
"We have a January 29 due date. People worked very hard on that part of the legislation [the Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA)]," TASS cited him as saying.
Huntsman added that "we’ll have to see, what comes of the work … knowing, that it will impact the short term of our relationship, but also the longer term of our relationship."
