International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi has confirmed his upcoming visit to Moscow next week.

The IAEA chief emphasized that he would be pleased to visit the Russian capital.

Grossi confirmed the trip on September 15th on the sidelines of the 69th session of the IAEA General Conference in Vienna. Addressing Rosatom head Alexei Likhachev at the opening of the Russian state corporation's exhibition booth, he stressed that he would be very happy to come to Moscow.

"Next week you are opening the World Nuclear Week. I will be there with great pleasure," Grossi said.

The World Nuclear Week is scheduled to take place in Moscow on September 25t-28. The event will be attended by national leaders from countries developing nuclear programs, alongside representatives of government bodies, major companies, scientists, and entrepreneurs.
