The IAEA will not create new low-enriched uranium banks, because it will focus on the project in Kazakhstan, IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano said during his visit to the International Uranium Enrichment Center in the Irkutsk region.
Earlier, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said that establishing the bank in Ust-Kamenogorsk does not pose any threats to the region.
