The International Monetary Fund (IMF) noted that the average oil price in 2022 is expected to increase by 11.9% compared to 2021 to $77.31 per barrel.
At the same time, next year, oil prices will decrease by 7.8% to $71.29 per barrel, the report said.
Futures markets indicate that oil prices will rise by about 12% in 2022 and natural gas by 58% (both significantly lower than in 2021), and will decrease in 2023 as the supply-demand imbalance is further will decrease more, the analysts said.
