The director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde has said that the fund may help Azerbaijan and Nigeria.
"If they need help we are ready to help without questions,'' she said.
According to Lagarde, the two countries are highly dependent on oil exports and thus have suffered a shock due to the sharp fall in commodity prices. At the same time, the IMF managing director noted that Azerbaijan is making the right efforts to resolve the situation. As for Nigeria, it hasn't implemented the necessary reforms yet, RIA Novosti reports.
