The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Armenia's gross domestic product to grow by 3% and annual inflation to reach 2% in 2017, the IMF mission chief, Hossein Samiei, said.
"Foreign capital expenditure could be higher than was expected in December," he told a news conference.
Samiei said that the government promised to put effort into diversifying exports, tackling corruption and implementing structural reforms, Reuters reported.
Armenian government’s projection of GDP growth for 2017 is 3.2%. Inflation is projected at 2.4%.
