An Iranian military plane crashed in the city of Iranshahr in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan in the east of the country, killing the pilot Ahmad Maylee and injuring his co-pilot, Tasnim news agency reports.
The ultra-light plane, belonging to the Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) was returning from a reconnaissance operation, when the incident occurred.
The crash occurred Oct. 10 near the Iran-Pakistan border.
