Today, as a result of a counter-terrorism operation in the village of Gimry in the Untsukulsky district of Dagestan, one of the leaders of the militants associated with the terrorist organization Islamic State has been killed.
According to a source in the law enforcement agencies, the militant prepared the terrorist attack on the Irganaiskaya hydro-power plant.
"The active phase is complete, one militant was killed. Previously, he was identified as local resident Abdul Nustapaev - an active member of the currently crushed Gimry diversionary-terrorist group," Interfax quoted the source in the law enforcement agencies as saying.
