The Russian representative at the United Nations, Vitaly Churkin, has said that militants of the terrorist group Islamic State have taken control of the supply chain of drugs from Afghanistan.
According to him, the leadership of IS has access to new sources of financing of terrorist activities after taking control of the Afghan drug trade, Gazeta.ru reports.
Churkin also added that rebels have control over the supply chain of drugs from Badakhshan Province.
