President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and first vice president Mehriban Aliyeva have arrived in Gakh district for a visit yesterday.
Head of Gakh District Executive Authority Musa Shakiliyev informed the head of state and the first vice president of the works carried out in the district.
Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva laid flowers at a statue of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city of Gakh.
The head of state also attended the inauguration of Gakh Silkworm Breeding Station of the Ministry of Agriculture after reconstruction.
Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov informed Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva of the conditions created at the center.
Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva also have attended the inauguration of Yurd Hotel. Located in Ilisu village 8.5km from the city of Gakh, the three-storey hotel features 48 suits, including 45 standard and three family suits.
