Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh

Before the end of this year a meeting on the Karabakh settlement will be held of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan.

The website of the OSCE says that the mediators of the Karabakh settlement discussed measures to reduce the level of cross-border tensions and confidence-building measures with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

It is also noted that the Ministers of Foreign Affairs agreed to prepare a meeting of the countries' presidents before the end of this year. "The co-chairs urged Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev to accept the mechanism on investigation of border incidents proposed by the mediators. Without it, the parties will continue to accuse each other of border incidents and human casualties," Interfax cites the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group mediators.
