In August 2022, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said at a meeting held on July 15 following the results of the first half of the year.
The head of state stressed that Azerbaijan has always been active in the Organization of Turkic States, expanding contacts not only within the organization but also with member countries.
"This year I had three meetings with the President of Turkey. In April, I met with the President of Kyrgyzstan during his visit to Azerbaijan. In June, I visited Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and met with the heads of these countries," he said, adding that the visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan is expected next month.
