Today Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Marcelo Rebelo de Souza on his election as President of Portugal.
"I hope that we will make joint efforts for the development and extension of relations of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Portugal," he informed in the congratulatory letter, Trend reports.
