Yesterday in Washington the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, held a meeting with the US Deputy Secretary of State, Thomas Shannon.
During the talks they noted successful development of bilateral relations in various spheres. The head of the Azerbaijani State expressed satisfaction with his visit to the United States, adding that the visit was successful.
He also noted that the meetings held by him during this time will make a contribution to raising the level of relations between Baku and Washington, based on strategic cooperation, AzerTaj writes.
