Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan over the terrorist attack in Istanbul's Reina nightclub.
"We were deeply shocked to hear about such violent attack on people who gathered for a celebration in Istanbul's nightclub, which led to numerous casualties," he said.
"In connection with this tragedy, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people, I express deepest condolences to you, families and relatives of the victims," he added.
