President Ilham Aliyev has expressed his condolences to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people in connection with the explosion which occurred this evening in Ankara. The President of Azerbaijan described the incident as a ruthless terrorist attack.
"We are extremely outraged by these terrible events and we strongly condemn terrorism and believe it is important to fight it in the most serous way. In connection with the tragedy on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan I express my deepest condolences to your families and the relatives of the victims and to the brotherly people of Turkey.
