Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev phoned the leader of the Kazakh people, chairman of the Security Council of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, according to the press service of the Kazakh head of state.
Ilham Aliyev noted that during his presidency, Nursultan Nazarbayev made huge efforts to ensure the development, prosperity and stability of Kazakhstan. He also stressed that his friendly relations with the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation for bilateral relations between the countries. In addition, the Azerbaijani leader wished Nursultan Nazarbayev success in future activities and good health.
Nursultan Nazarbayev, in turn, thanked Ilham Aliyev for his attention and kind words.
In addition, the sides expressed confidence that the development of Baku-Astana friendly relations will continue in all areas.
