Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation today led by the Executive Vice-President of Development and Production International at Statoil Company, Lars Christian Bacher.
The President stressed the successful long-term cooperation of Azerbaijan and the oil company. Speaking about the 24th International Oil and Gas Exhibition Caspian Oil & Gas 2017 to be held in Baku, Ilham Aliyev noted the traditional participation of Statoil in it.
In turn, Lars Christian Bacher pointed to the importance of the Caspian oil & gas exhibition. He also drew attention to the successful cooperation of Statoil with SOCAR and expressed great satisfaction with the company's participation in the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli project, AzerTAc reported.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Statoil at the meeting.
