Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with the Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), William Lacy Swing.
According to the head of the organization, Azerbaijan can serve as a good example of the implementation of measures in migration area and migration management in general.
Ilham Aliyev, in his turn, noted that when a few years ago the State Migration Service was launched as an independent body in Azerbaijan migration issues were not as topical in the world as today.
Ilham Aliyev and William Lacy Swing also discussed the prospects of cooperation between the International Organization for Migration and the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
