The interdepartmental Russian delegation, which arrived in Baku from Yerevan, has begun a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova informs.
"A meeting of the Russian interdepartmental delegation with the President of Azerbaijan has begun in Baku," Zakharova wrote in Facebook, RIA Novosti reports.
The delegation is represented by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko and Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk. Prior to visiting Baku, the Russian delegation held a number of meetings with the Armenian leadership in Yerevan.
