The President of Azerbaijan signed a decree on the creation of an organizing committee for holding the CIS games. The sporting event will be held in Ganja in 2025.
The Organizing Committee for the 3rd CIS Games was created in Azerbaijan, a relevant decree was signed by the country's President Ilham Aliyev.
The head of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, Farid Gaibov, became the chairman of the organizing committee. The agency, together with local executive bodies, must prepare an action plan and submit it to the organizing committee.
The Commonwealth Games will be held in the Azerbaijani city of Ganja in 2025.
