Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has proposed an amendment to the law 'On Diplomatic Service'.
According to the amendment to Article 11.2 of the law on diplomatic service, diplomats may be reduced in rank or stripped of their ranks for a serious flaw in service duties or any action incompatible with diplomatic service, the official website of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic reports.
The draft law will be put up for discussion at the parliament’s plenary session on September 30.
