"If the presidential elections in Azerbaijan were held this Sunday, 92.8% of respondents would support the candidacy of working President Ilham Aliyev," News.az reports.
According to Oxu.Az, the Rey monitoring center has conducted a public poll.
The poll was held among 800 respondents in Baku on April 18-19.
Thus, the majority - 86.2% of respondents said that they would take part in the presidential elections this Sunday.
In addition, 97% of respondents trust Ilham Aliyev and almost 89% consider that the president expresses their interests.
In addition, the poll also showed that nearly 78.8% of respondents do not see alternative to Aliyev. 87.3% of respondents assessed president's foreign policy as 'very well' and 'well, in general'.
In line with the research, the support of I.Aliyev as the head commander has risen against the backdrop of the recent escalation in Nagorno Karabakh - the level of trust to the Supreme Commander makes 97%.
