Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev sent congratulatory letter to the President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas on the occasion of Independence Day.
"Dear Mr. President, On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you and your people on the occasion of national holiday of your country - Independence Day," the congratulatory letter says.
"I believe that the expansion and strengthening of relations between Azerbaijan and Palestine will continue to serve the interests of our people. On this remarkable day, I wish you robust health, success in your activities and the brotherly people of Palestine peace and prosperity," Aliyev wrote.
