Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II met with the rector of Moscow Theological Academy, Archbishop Yevgeny of Verea, where he expressed hope for normalization of bilateral relations.
Archbishop Yevgeny, in his turn, said that he hopes to develop relations between the churches of Georgia and Russia.
The Moscow and Tbilisi Theological Academies signed a cooperation agreement. The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia said that he graduated from the Moscow Seminary in 1960, Sputnik Georgia reports.
