Imports to Georgia fell by 10% this year

According to the information of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, Geostat, in the first eight months of this year imports to Georgia amounted to $4.937 million.

This is 10% less than in the same period in 2014.

$443.1 million (9%) is oil and oil products, $428.2 million (8.7%) is medications, $317 million (6.4%) is vehicles, $262 million (5.3%) is gas, $136 million (2.8%) is copper ores and concentrates, and $66.3 million (1.3%) is wheat, Sputnik Georgia reports.
