Russian banks lose 5.1 billion rubles in first half of year

In the first six months of 2015 the 30 largest Russian banks had losses amounting to 5.1 billion rubles in comparison to a profit the year earlier of 368.5 billion rubles. 

This information is shown in materials published by the Bank of Russia. Thus, the total assets of the 30 largest banks during the six months in 2015 exceeded 57.5 trillion rubles. This is 17% more in comparison to last year’s results (47.1 trillion rubles).
