Strategic Roadmap on telecommunications & information technology, endorsed by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, has been published
According to the document, its implementation until 2020 will increase GDP by AZN 235 million, create 1,450 new jobs, but will demand investments for AZN 585 million, abc.az reports.
The Presidential Administration is responsible for the creation of an independent regulator of the sector within the Roadmap. The formation of the regulatory framework for the new regulator will be formed before that.
