Indian military pilots forced the Georgian An-12 military transport aircraft to land as it had deviated from the course and entered the Indian airspace, NDTV reports with a reference to the informed sources.
The plane on route from the Pakistani city of Karachi to New Delhi, deviated from the initial flight path and entered into the airspace of India in an unscheduled point in the state of Gujarat. The Indian jet fighters got into the air and ‘landed’ the Georgian plane in Jaipur (state of Rajasthan), RIA Novosti reports.
