The organizers of the European Championship did everything to make it comfortable for athletes to practice and perform, Norwegian gymnast Ingrid Bratsberg said, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza after her performance with ribbon and clubs at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku.
"I really like the organization of competitions - there are 11 carpets. Everything is very comfortable, each gymnast has his own place to prepare for his performance,” she said.
”I went on Baku city tour. The Old Town is very interesting and beautiful," the Norwegian gymnast shared her impressions.
Baku is hosting the 35th European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships at the National Gymnastics Arena. Athletes from 35 countries are taking part in the championships. During the four-day championships, senior female gymnasts will perform in the individual program, while junior gymnasts will participate in the group exercise program. In total, the gymnasts will compete for 8 medal sets.
