The Ingush authorities have intensified work on the project of construction of six gas turbine units producing 150 MW in order to make the region independent of electricity supplies from other subjects of the federation.
"On Wednesday, the adviser to the head of the republic, Yury Skokov, reported to Yevkurov on the preparation of all the necessary documents to start the project. The objects will cost 10-12 billion rubles and each station will produce 25 MW," RIA Novosti cited the press service of the head of the region as saying.
In the near future it is expected to adopt a final decision on the construction of these plants. It is also expected that equipment will be supplied by Rostec.
The press service also reported about the talks between the authorities of the republic and the Huasin Chinese energy company on cooperation in the energy sector.
