Injury toll in Tehran building collapse rises to almost 200 - source

The number of people injured at the Plasco Trade Center collapse has risen to 194, the director of public relations office of Tehran Emergency Center, Hassan Abassi, said.

He noted that some 44 injured have been sent to hospital by Emergency technicians.

"Rubble removal operation is underway and the bodies of two firefighters were identified so far," IRNA cited Abassi as saying.

Plasco Trade Center, the 17-storey building collapsed in downtown on January 19 while a number of firefighters were inside the building to rescue those trapped in the huge fire.
