The Director of the Center for Partnership of Civilizations of MGIMO, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Veniamin Popov, during a presentation of the book ‘Political Portraits of the Middle East’ said that the Institute of World Economics and International Relations will be named after the former Prime Minister and ex-Foreign Minister of Russia, Yevgeny Primakov.
"I would like to note that the Institute of World Economy and International Relations will be named after Primakov, and a memorial plaque of outstanding scientists will appear at the Institute of Oriental Studies (RAS)," RIA Novosti cites Ambassador Veniamin Popov as saying.
