Int'l tourism fair in Madrid features Georgia as partner country

Georgia is participating in FITUR, Madrid International Tourism Fair, in the status of a partner country on May 19-23, where the country is carrying out a marketing campaign and showcase its tourism potential through banners, videos, presentations and information channels.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, who attended the opening of the fair, said that FITUR is 'a message heralding the world's gradual return to normal life, and we, among others, must be ready to host tourists actively'.

Georgia's presentation stand allows international tour operators and agencies, and media representatives, to learn about Georgia's tourist destinations.

The fair brings together more than 5,000 participants from the five continents in Madrid, Agenda.ge reported.
