Russian Federation Council defense and security committee members voted on Tuesday to elect Yevgeny Serebrennikov acting committee head, the Previous head of the defense and security committee Viktor Ozerov said.
Ozerov had earlier resigned but remained a Federation Council member, Interfax reported.
