Today the Azerbaijani parliamentarians approved the amendments to the Law on Children’s Rights, abc.az reports.
Introducing the amendments, chairperson of the Parliamentary Committee for Families, Women & Children Agia Nakhchivanli has stated that the amendments are aimed at preventing use of negative information by children.
"The amendments to Article 15, allowing children to seek, receive and impart information using IT technologies, suggest addition of a clause on protection of children from information that could harm children’s health and development, by relevant legislation," Nakhchivanli said.
