In recent days, wolves have started attacking domestic animals in the Terdzholsky region, located in western Georgia. The local government decided to examine the situation in the villages.
The Georgian mass media writes about it on behalf of local residents, who asked to bring the situation to the attention of the public with reference to the district municipality.
The problem is that wolves killed a lot of pets, but hunting wild animals is banned. Permission is required from the Biodiversity Service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia to begin to shoot wolves. The permission is given only in response to an appeal to the district administration.
