A criminal case has been initiated in Dagestan against an investigator of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, who is suspected of taking bribes, a spokesman of the regional Investigative Committee said.
According to investigators, at the end of July 2015 a district policeman was assigned to locate a resident of the Levashinskom district who was suspected of fraud. The district policeman didn't carry the assignment out and decided to act in collusion with the resident.
