Iran, Russia to sign cooperation agreement

Russia and Iran are close to completing work on a document on comprehensive cooperation for a 20-year period, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said.

"We have created a new Foreign Ministry program: a roadmap for concluding 20-year agreements with neighboring countries. This process is almost complete with Russia," he said, adding that this is an agreement similar to a comprehensive 25-year cooperation agreement with China.
