NIOC managing director, Ali Kardor, said the company’s main priory includes development of joint oil and gas fields, Mehr reports.
He underlined the importance of human resources in the development prospects of NIOC; “as the country’s largest economic entity, Iran’s oil industry develops in the light of the overall performance of the industry chain.”
“The completion of South Pars projects as well as those in West Karoon oilfields is among the special priorities of the new management,” said Kardor adding “plans will be made to complete the projects in the shortest possible time in order to increase oil and gas production.”
The official went on to urge exploitation of all capacities for increasing oil and gas productions.
Iran’s Minister of Oil Bijan Zanganeh on Sunday appointed Kardor as NIOC managing director for a two-year term on Saturday.
