A meeting took place today of the foreign ministers of Iran and Japan, Mohammad Javad Zarif and Fumio Kishida. The parties have agreed to expand cooperation in nuclear safety and stipulated measures in compliance with Iran's nuclear agreement.
Kishida said at the press conference with the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry that the two countries agreed to establish a coordinating council in order to implement a comprehensive monitoring of all the ministries of Japan and Iran.
