Iran and Saudi Arabia fail to reach a deal on Hajj

Iran and Saudi Arabia have failed to reach a deal on Hajj during the second round of talks.

As reported earlier Saudi Arabia has not agreed with Iran’s proposals to organize pilgrimage for the Iranians, which, in particular, dealt with increasing security measures in view of the tragedy during last year's Hajj: 464 Iranians were killed along with other pilgrims during last year’s stampede in Mina, RIA Novosti reported.

According to media, Iran may ban Hajj for its citizens unless the sides reach an agreement.
