Tehran condemns the train blast at the Saint Petersburg metro system, the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said.
"Creating insecurity and the killing of innocent people is the most humiliating act for achieving political goals," he stressed.
Ghasemi further expressed his sincere condolences to the government and people of Russia and families of those affected.
He added that uprooting these 'barbaric crimes' requires international consensus and strong will of all governments and international organizations, Trend reported.
