Iran dissatisfied with European banks and companies

Despite the lifting of sanctions against Iran, European banks and companies are in no hurry to renew business contacts with Iran, the deputy head of the Central Bank of Iran Hamid Tehranfar complained today.

‘’There is still Iranophobia in the banking sector which we are trying to overcome," Reuters quotes Hamid Tehranfar as saying.

Tehranfar added that Tehran asked the IMF to revise the rules governing the republic for a more comfortable cooperation of foreign financial institutions with Iran. The answer of the International Monetary Fund is expected in 2018.
