Iranian navy prevented a US nuclear submarine from secretly crossing the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian navy commander informed.
According to Amir Shahram Irani, the Americans were heading towards the Strait. They observed complete silence and did not go to the surface.
However, the Fateh submarine of the Islamic Republic Navy detected the US submarine. It was decided to force the suspicious submarine to surface.

In early April, the American side announced that it intended to deploy the nuclear submarine Florida, armed with cruise missiles, possibly with nuclear warheads, to the 5th Fleet. The submarine is based in Bahrain.
