The Deputy UN Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman, said today that Iran fulfills its commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan (SVPD) to curtail its nuclear program, signed in July, along with the Group of Six (Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, the United States and France).
"Six months after the date of the start of the (agreement) the UN Secretary-General appreciates the way the Islamic Republic of Iran comply with its nuclear obligations, which confirmed the International Atomic Energy Agency. He also thanked the European Union and the United States for the efforts they have taken in accordance with their obligations under SVPD in question of (lifting) of the sanctions.’’
